Driving down from the top of Pikes Peak

Half way down the Mountain.  Rest stop and gift shop.

There is still snow on the mountains

Geocache location where people stack rocks to look like people.

Tourist spot just below the entrance to Pikes Peak

Geocache at the bottom

Driving into Garden of the Gods at Colorado Springs.

Pikes Peak is in the middle behind the dark clouds.

You can't see Pikes Peak because of the clouds.

This formation is called Elephant Rock.
We had to find this for a geocache.

Interesting rock formation along the highway

Surprised to find some geocachers from Grand Island at the
oldest geocache in Colorado.  West of Pikes Peak.

Mary was looking for Colorado rocks to take home

This is the South Platte River west of Pikes Peak
at 8300 feet elevation.
