May 14 - Geocaching to Deshler

Original site of the Eubanks Ranch that the indians burned down

These two guys saw us looking at the historical marker
and invited us to tour the historical sites on their land

Wagonmaster and boy buried here.
The Wagonmaster got mad at the lazy 16 year old boy and
shot him.  The Wagon train people hung the wagonmaster.
They are both buried here.

This area is called the Narrows.  Where the wagon trains
came through.

We saw lots of Oregon Trail markers today.
All with geocaches.

All gone now, only farm ground.

There's a geocache in their somewhere.
We never found it.

Mary enjoyed the Arboretum at Deshler while Jerry
found the geocache.
