September 28-30, 2012 - Geocaching Norfolk

New geocaches put out for the 2012 Norfolk Fall
Caching Extravaganza.  The city of Norfolk is between
the two.  "Go Big Red!" is in three different counties.
The geocaches are all 1/2 mile apart from each other.

A letterbox geocache we found Saturday morning
before the highway clean up event.

Mary found this decoy cache.  We didn't find the right
one, but another cacher gave us a hint at one of the events.

into Norfolk.  Stuck in between old houses.
Mary thought it was very strange.

A very strange geocache.
A plastic sword stuck through a log with a
padalock on one end that you had to
guess the combination to get to the cache container
with log sheet.  We guessed it from the hints they gave.
It is part of another series of caches in Norfolk.

We couldn't find the cache at this stop.
It was called "Fallen Giants"
