Omaha Trip - Sunday

Long hike along a canal to find an old geocache

Another gadget cache in Bellevue

In the rain.

Another fun gadget cache in Bellevue.

It had four different length bolts that you put in one at a time
and then count the number of washers it takes to balance.
Those four numbers were the combination to unlock the box
to get to the geocache container inside.

We had to get some information from this display to find
another geocache.  It is in a park along the Missouri River.

Another gadget cache.  Had to count the painted on shingles
on the roof to get the combination of the lock.

This is the Geocoin we were given by the Sarpy County Tourism
for completing the 14 gadget caches in the county.

Omaha trip - July 4th Weekend - Saturday

The Sarpy County GeoTrail - all gadget caches we had
to figure out to punch or card and sign the log.

This was in the box.  Had to follow directions to get the number
for the combination lock to get to the cache container inside the box.

Met another cacher working on this one.  Took us quite a while
and a phone call to get into it.  The door on the front was
stuck because it has swelled from the rain.

Had to stick a card in the slot to open the door to the cache container.

This one was next to the big Cabela's store.

When you touch the right screw it was supposed to light
up the bulb that you could see through a hole but it wasn't
working.  Some other cachers that showed up had gotten
the combination for the lock from someone else.

You have to connect jumper cables to the box to get an antenna to come up out
of the top with the numbers for lock combination. It wasn't working very well.

You had to finish a tune on the numbered bars to get the combination
of the lock for this one.

Springfield Nebraska Drug store.  Needed dates from this bench
to find the next geocache.

Two of these numbers were magnetized.  Had to find them
for the lock combination.

This one we had to remove the plug in the pipe and pull a
spring loaded trigger on the bottom to get the tube to fly out
the top.  It had the lock combination.
