August 2, 2011 - Geocaching

Mary traded a couple of buffalo nickels for this snake.

We were hoping to be the first, but were too late
by a couple of hours.  Cache has some nice stuff in it

Cache is at this historical site north of Bertrand, Nebraska.

Geocache name:  U24?

Libby found it!

Nice horse across the road.

Found a travel bug in the cache.

We went to Holdrege to help Don Holmes from church
remove the brush from his yard.  We took one pick-up load
and one with his trailer.

We didn't find the cache at this cemetery.
This is what was left of the structure the cache was
supposed to be on.

Geocaching - July 9, 2011

Jake found two cache containers at this site.
I emailed the owner to see if they knew they were both there.

Our "First to find" of the day.  We looked for along time
before Jerry spotted it.

Jake saw the cache container before we even stopped.
