May 19th, 2013 - Sunday afternoon geocaching

Sumner Nebraska
This was the starting point of a multi-cache
We had to get numbers from a historical marker here
to get the coordinates for the next state of the multi-cache.

Eddyville Nebraska
This was the second stage of the multi-cache.
We needed the numbers from this sign to get the
coordinates for the final location.

A new cache in Eddyville.  We found the hole in the wall
but no geocache in it

The geocache was named "Hog Heaven"
so Jerry assumed it was here.  It was not.

The geocache was here.
A different type of Hog.

Some very interesting sculptures.

This commemorated a tornado that hit the
town in 2000.

These were 55 gallon barrels.
You can't see the legs of the centipede.

Oconto Water Tower
Didn't find this geocache either

1/2 mile hike to find this one at Pressey Wildlife Area

We were high on a hill, but the pictures never show that

Mary camped here with her folks when she was younger.

Very small geocache in a hole in the post.

This is the final stage of the multi-cache that started
in Sumner, then took us to Eddyville and then back
to Miller, where we had found one earlier.
Couldn't reach this one from the ground

Kids didn't seem to care what we were doing on the other
end of the park.
